Enveda's ENV-294 Shows Promising Results in Atopic Dermatitis Trial
Enveda Biosciences has announced positive results from its Phase 1b trial of ENV-294, a potential first-in-class oral therapy for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis. The trial, presented at the American Academy of Dermatology Innovation Academy, showed that patients experienced significant improvements in their Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI) scores, with a mean reduction of 68% by Day 28 and 85% by Day 42. The study involved nine patients, all of whom achieved EASI-50 by Day 42, with 78% reaching EASI-75 and 56% achieving EASI-90. The drug was generally well-tolerated, with only one reported headache as an adverse event.
