Dr. Bernardette Nwokoro Honored Among 100 Iconic Personalities for Youth Empowerment Efforts
Dr. Bernardette Erommaose Nwokoro, founder and CEO of the ErommaOse Nwokoro Foundation, was recently recognized at the 100 Iconic Personalities of the Year 2026 event held in Lagos, Nigeria. She was honored for her significant contributions to youth empowerment through skill acquisition programs. The event, organized by the Iconic Council, celebrated individuals who have made a profound impact in their fields. Dr. Nwokoro's foundation has trained hundreds of young Nigerians in various skills, such as hotel management, hairdressing, and dressmaking, and has provided starter packs to help them establish their businesses. Her dedication to uplifting underprivileged communities has earned her numerous awards and recognition, including the Exceptional Women of Excellence Award from the Women Economic Forum.
