Israel Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Ceremonies and Public Events
Israel marked its 78th Independence Day with a series of public celebrations, including concerts, parties, and the traditional torch-lighting ceremony at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. This year, the ceremony was broadcast live for the first time in two years, featuring 14 individuals lighting torches symbolizing the 12 tribes of Israel. Among them were military personnel, high-tech entrepreneurs, and community leaders. The day also included the President's Award for Excellence ceremony and the International Bible Contest, attended by prominent Israeli leaders.
