Texas A AgriLife Extension Hosts Rainwater Harvesting and Turf Management Training in Denton County
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is organizing a free residential rainwater harvesting and turf management training session on August 20 in Flower Mound, Denton County. This event is part of the Healthy Lawns and Healthy Waters Program, aimed at improving surface water quality through better residential landscape management practices. The training will take place at the Denton County Southwest Courthouse and will cover topics such as the design and installation of rainwater harvesting systems, appropriate turf and landscape species selection, and efficient irrigation practices. Attendees will also have the opportunity to have their soil tested for free, with results provided by the AgriLife Extension Soil, Water and Forage Testing Lab.
