Oregon State University Increases Parking Pass Prices Amid Campus Developments
Oregon State University (OSU) is set to increase the prices of its parking permits for the 2026-27 academic year. The cost of annual A zone parking permits will rise from $801 to $826, while monthly passes will increase from $68 to $71. B zone annual permits will see a rise from $558 to $575, with monthly passes going from $47 to $49. C zone annual permits will increase from $162 to $167, and monthly passes from $20 to $21. These changes are attributed to the ongoing construction of the Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex, which has reduced available parking spaces on campus. The university's Transportation Services department, a self-supported auxiliary, adjusts rates to maintain a balanced budget and cover the costs of services and maintenance.
