Earth Day Training Highlights Efficiency of Heat Pump Water Heaters
In celebration of Earth Day, the Advanced Water Heating Initiative is organizing virtual training sessions on heat pump water heaters (HPWH). These sessions, scheduled for April 21 and 22, will feature presentations from 12 manufacturers, including Bradford White, A. O. Smith, and Rheem. HPWHs are noted for their efficiency, being 3-6 times more efficient than traditional water heaters, and they significantly reduce CO2 emissions. The training aims to educate installers and homeowners on the benefits and installation practices of HPWHs.
