ATHA Energy Initiates Major Exploration at Angilak Uranium Project in Canada
ATHA Energy Corp has commenced site mobilization for its Angilak Uranium Project located in Nunavut, Canada. The company is preparing to start exploration activities by late April, following a significant financing round of C$63 million completed in February 2026. This exploration marks the largest program undertaken by ATHA Energy at the Angilak site, building on successful campaigns from 2024 and 2025. The company has transported necessary fuel, supplies, and equipment, including a third diamond drill, to the site via ATR aircraft from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, and other locations in Nunavut. The previous year's drilling efforts resulted in five new uranium discoveries, notably at RIB North, where significant uranium mineralization was found. ATHA Energy controls a substantial 2.75 million hectares of exploration ground across Canada's uranium basins and holds a 10% interest in projects operated by NexGen Energy and IsoEnergy.
