Sydney Film Festival Unveils 2026 Program Featuring Cannes Highlights
The 73rd Sydney Film Festival has announced its full program for the event scheduled from June 3 to June 14, 2026. The festival will feature 248 films from 81 countries, including 19 films directly from the Cannes Film Festival. Notable films include Andrey Zvyagintsev's 'Minotaur', Asghar Farhadi's 'Parallel Tales', and Cristian Mungiu's 'Fjord'. The festival will open with the Australian premiere of 'Silenced', a documentary by Selina Miles. The event will also host the Official Competition, celebrating its 18th year, with a $60,000 prize for the winning film. The festival is supported by the NSW Government, Screen Australia, and the City of Sydney.
