European Commission Invites Indonesian Civil Society Organizations to Apply for Action Grants Addressing Green Transition and Gender-Based Violence
The European Commission has issued a call for civil society organizations (CSOs) in Indonesia to apply for action grants. This initiative aims to support a just green transition and efforts to prevent violence against women and girls, while also strengthening women's empowerment. The total indicative budget for these grants is €9.507 million, with individual grants ranging from €1 million to €2 million for projects lasting between 36 and 48 months. The program is divided into two funding lots: Lot 1 focuses on an inclusive and just green transition, encompassing areas like energy, sustainable agriculture, forestry, circular economy, and natural resource management. Lot 2 is dedicated to ending violence against women and girls, improving survivor-centered services, and increasing women's participation in economic, social, and public life.
