APG Federal Credit Union Donates $10,000 to Baltimore Hunger Project, Mobilizes Volunteers for Hunger Action Month
APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) has donated $10,000 to the Baltimore Hunger Project to support the expansion of its school pantry program. This donation is part of APGFCU's broader efforts during Hunger Action Month, where over 65 employees and their family members volunteered across Baltimore City and Baltimore, Harford, and Cecil counties in Maryland. Volunteers engaged in various activities, including preparing and serving meals at Elkton Community Kitchen, packing meal boxes for the Baltimore Hunger Project, assembling weekend meal bags for students at The Hope Center of Maryland, and packaging meal boxes for Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland. These initiatives aim to combat food insecurity within the communities served by APGFCU, reflecting a commitment to enriching lives through impactful partnerships and financial education.
