Hensoldt, Indra, and Leonardo are advancing the development of the European Common Radar System (ECRS) Mk.1 active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar for the Eurofighter. The radar is intended for use on German and Spanish Eurofighters, with ground tests already showing promising results in terms of robustness and performance.
