Saul Leonard Thomashow's Passing Marks the End of an Era for Highland Park Community
Saul Leonard Thomashow, a respected member of the Highland Park community, has passed away at the age of 91. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, Thomashow was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his wife Judith, his children Andrew, Nancy, and Kathianne, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral service is scheduled for May 18 at Shalom Memorial Park in Arlington Heights. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Congregation Beth Judea of Long Grove, specifically to the Thomashow Family Fund. The funeral service will be available for live streaming on the Mitzvah Memorial Funerals website for those unable to attend in person.
