Israel Issues Elevated Terror Threat Warning for Citizens Abroad, Citing Online Identification Risks
Israel's National Security Council has issued an elevated terror threat warning for Israelis and Jewish individuals traveling abroad, particularly ahead of the Jewish High Holidays and the third anniversary of the October 7 attack. The assessment highlights a broader and more persistent threat environment compared to previous years, driven by ongoing conflict with Iran and its proxies, anti-Israel incitement, and an increase in plots and lone-actor attacks overseas.
