President Trump Hosts UFC Event at White House for 250th Independence Anniversary
President Donald Trump is set to host a UFC event on the South Lawn of the White House on June 14, coinciding with his 80th birthday and the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence. The event, named 'UFC Freedom 250,' will feature seven bouts, including a main event where lightweight champion Ilia Topuria will defend his title against American challenger Justin Gaethje. The event highlights Trump's long-standing relationship with the UFC, dating back to the early 2000s when he hosted events at his Taj Mahal casino. The White House lawn will be transformed with an octagon-shaped cage and a metal arena structure. Approximately 4,000 seats will be available for invited guests, including military personnel and celebrities.
