Jeddah Tower Reaches 100 Floors, Marking Major Milestone in Construction
The Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia, set to become the world's tallest building, has reached its 100th floor, marking a significant milestone in its construction. The tower, designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, is expected to surpass 1,000 meters in height, overtaking the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The project is part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, aimed at diversifying the economy beyond oil. Despite previous delays, the construction is progressing well, with completion anticipated by August 2028. The Jeddah Tower will be the centerpiece of the Jeddah Economic City, a large urban development currently under construction.
