African Private Guides Network Expands to Over 50 Guides Across 21 Countries
The African Private Guides Network (APGN) has significantly expanded its reach, now encompassing more than 50 private safari guides from 21 different African countries. This network aims to connect vetted and qualified local guides with the travel industry, offering a single point of access for tour operators. The guides in the network offer a wide range of specializations, including ornithology, herpetology, primatology, and photography safaris, and can guide in eight foreign languages, such as English, French, German, Italian, Russian, and Mandarin. Founded in 2023, APGN's core mission is to empower African private safari guides by providing them with direct access to quality bookings and promoting indigenous-led, sustainable-focused safaris. Each guide is selected based on their skills, qualifications, and deep personal connection to the regions they operate in. The network also provides safari nannies for family and multi-generational travel, catering to diverse traveler needs.
