Leslie Lopez Appointed as ABC News Meteorologist, Enhancing Weather Coverage
Leslie Lopez has been appointed as a meteorologist for ABC News after a decade-long tenure at ABC7 Los Angeles. Lopez, who has been a morning meteorologist since 2016, is recognized for her reliable weather reports in Southern California. Her career includes previous roles at KUSI-TV in San Diego and KGET in Bakersfield. Lopez expressed gratitude to the community for their trust and support throughout her career. She will collaborate with chief meteorologist and climate correspondent Ginger Zee and will appear on programs such as 'Good Morning America' and 'World News Tonight with David Muir.' Lopez will be based in New York starting April 10.
