CNN Correspondent Stephanie Elam Announces Departure After Two Decades
Stephanie Elam, a seasoned correspondent for CNN, has announced her departure from the network after more than twenty years of service. Elam has been a prominent figure at CNN, contributing to a wide range of stories from environmental issues to major breaking news events. Her career at CNN included two separate stints, with her most recent role being a Los Angeles-based correspondent. Elam expressed pride in her career at CNN, highlighting her experiences covering significant events such as the eruption of Hawaii's Kilauea volcano and the death of musician Prince. Prior to her time at CNN, Elam worked as a business news correspondent in New York and held positions at KNBC, Dow Jones Newswires, and Bridge News. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism from Howard University.
