President Trump Faces Criticism Over Unclear Iran War Goals Amid Low Approval Ratings
A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll indicates that two-thirds of Americans believe President Trump has not clearly explained the objectives of the U.S. military involvement in Iran. The poll, conducted over four days, also highlights public concern over rising gasoline prices, with many voters attributing their financial difficulties to Trump's Republican allies. The conflict, which began on February 28 with a U.S.-Israeli bombing campaign, has seen 66% of respondents, including a significant number of Republicans, express dissatisfaction with the clarity of the war's goals. Despite these concerns, Trump's approval rating has seen a slight increase to 36%, up from 34% in late April, though it remains near the lowest point of his term.
