Israeli Security Forces Uncover Iranian Plot to Target Oil Pipeline
Israeli security agencies, including the Mossad, IDF, and Shin Bet, have exposed a covert terror network operated by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). This network aimed to target senior Israeli officials and strategic infrastructure globally. The revelation follows a series of thwarted attacks during Operation Roaring Lion, which led to the elimination of key figures within the IRGC's covert attack apparatus. The operation also uncovered an Iranian attempt to damage the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, a strategic asset running through Georgia and Turkey. Azerbaijani authorities arrested members of the operational cell, who were found with explosive drones and fragmentation devices.
