Bellwood Coffee Restores Jovita Moore Mural After Community Outcry
In Grant Park, Georgia, Bellwood Coffee has unveiled a new mural honoring the late WSB-TV anchor Jovita Moore. The original mural, created by artist Tommy Bronx in 2021, was removed earlier this year as Bellwood Coffee prepared to open a new location. This decision led to significant public backlash, prompting the coffee shop to commission a new mural. The updated artwork, which includes input from Moore's children, features brighter colors and roses, one of Moore's favorite flowers. The mural highlights Moore's infectious smile, a feature that made her a beloved figure in Atlanta. The unveiling was attended by Moore's family, who expressed their appreciation for the community's continued support and love for Moore.
