Boston Logan Airport Introduces Remote Security Screening for Travelers
Boston Logan International Airport has announced a new pilot program allowing passengers to undergo security screening at a remote location 22 miles from the airport. This initiative, set to begin on June 1 and run through the end of August, will enable Delta Air Lines and JetBlue passengers to clear security at a facility near the Framingham, Massachusetts park-and-ride terminal for Logan Express. The remote site will offer full TSA services, including PreCheck, and allow passengers to check their bags before boarding a shuttle bus directly to the airport's airside gate. This approach aims to alleviate congestion at the airport and improve the passenger experience.
