Woman Arrested for False Bomb Threat Against Ex-Boyfriend
Brooke Ayers, 47, was arrested in New Mexico after falsely claiming her ex-boyfriend was planning to bomb a plane. Ayers allegedly called American Airlines to report that her ex, who was visiting from Indiana, would carry explosives onto a flight from Roswell Air Center. The claim led to a police response, but no explosives were found. Ayers was charged with making a bomb scare, aggravated assault on a peace officer, and other offenses after resisting arrest and threatening officers.
