Susan Sellers has been appointed as the new president and chief executive officer of United Cerebral Palsy (UCP), based in Vienna, Virginia, effective October 1. Sellers transitions to this role from her position as CEO of United Ability, a UCP affiliate in Birmingham, Alabama, where she has served since 2021. With over 25 years of executive leadership experience, Sellers has a background in disability services, healthcare, nonprofit management, education, and public policy. Her career includes leading organizations that serve children and families, expanding healthcare access through federally qualified health centers, and securing significant investments to bolster community-based services. Sellers expressed her commitment to leveraging the collective expertise and innovation of UCP affiliates to enhance opportunities and inclusion for people with disabilities.
