The study evaluated states based on several metrics, including road quality, the number of auto repair shops, and road fatalities. Florida scored 70.45, trailing behind New Jersey and Maryland. The state is noted for its high-quality infrastructure, with 87% of its roads rated as 'acceptable.' Additionally, Florida offers significant support for motorists, with 79.91 auto repair shops and 42.68 gas stations per 1,000 kilometers. The state also provides ample opportunities for outdoor recreation, featuring 1.37 National Park Service campgrounds for every 10,000 kilometers.
