Zuckerberg's Superyacht Criticized for Not Assisting Stranded Boat in Alaska
Mark Zuckerberg's 387ft superyacht, valued at $300 million, reportedly declined to assist a stranded skiff in southeast Alaska, despite being closer than the rescue vessel. The skiff, which ran out of fuel, was eventually rescued by a small cruise ship. Zuckerberg was not on board at the time, and a spokesperson stated that the yacht crew was on a different radio channel and the rescue was already underway when they reviewed the request. The incident has sparked criticism of Zuckerberg, who is already under scrutiny for his social media platforms and lifestyle.
