Wings Over Solano Air Show Features Debut of Pink Jet by All-Female Crew
The Wings Over Solano Air Show at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield is drawing significant attention with the debut of the Pink Jet, an aircraft piloted by an all-female crew. This event, which occurs biennially, is expected to attract over 100,000 attendees. The Pink Jet, a bright pink Albatros fighter jet, is part of a mission to raise awareness for breast cancer, honoring the legacy of the Aerial Angels founder and former president. The crew, led by Stephanie Goetz, aims to inspire young girls to pursue aviation careers. The air show also features performances by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the Academy Wings of Blue.
