Federal Disaster Declared in Missouri After July Flooding
President Donald Trump has approved a major federal disaster declaration for Missouri following severe storms and flash flooding that occurred from July 9 to July 11, 2026. The declaration, requested by Governor Mike Kehoe, unlocks an estimated $19.9 million in federal assistance to aid recovery efforts in nine counties: Bollinger, Crawford, Iron, Madison, Morgan, Reynolds, Ripley, Washington, and Wayne.
