Coca-Cola Cambodia Expands Zero Riel Market Initiative, Supporting Over 2,300 Families
Coca-Cola Cambodia Beverage Company has expanded its Zero Riel Market initiative, providing essential goods to over 2,300 families in Battambang and Banteay Meanchey ahead of the Khmer New Year. This initiative, held on April 3 and 5, targets families in financial need, allowing them to select food and household necessities at no cost. The program is funded by a campaign where Coca-Cola pledged 500 riels per case sold, generating approximately $115,000. This marks a significant increase from the previous year, which supported 1,800 families. The initiative is a collaboration with DFI Lucky Private Limited and local authorities, emphasizing the role of private-public partnerships in community support.
