Ibri Industrial City Secures RO 25 Million in Investments by Mid-2026, Boosting Economic Growth
Ibri Industrial City, part of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates 'Madayn', has attracted investments totaling approximately RO 25 million by the end of the first half of 2026. The city has signed 17 investment contracts covering over 250,000 square meters, focusing on sectors such as oil and gas, food, manufacturing, and light industries. Salah bin Nasser Al Alawi, Director General of Ibri Industrial City, emphasized Madayn's efforts to enhance the investment climate by collaborating with government bodies to unlock economic potential in Al Dhahirah Governorate. Initiatives include launching 11 investment opportunities in food manufacturing and organic fertilizer production through the Tharawat platform, in cooperation with local agricultural and urban planning directorates. These efforts align with Oman Vision 2040, aiming to attract investors, create jobs, and encourage value-added projects.
