John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall of several snack mix products due to potential salmonella contamination. The recall affects products flavored with seasoning from a third-party supplier that contained dry milk powder, which was recalled. Although the seasoning batches tested negative for salmonella, the company is taking precautionary measures. The affected products include various mixes under the Fisher, Squirrel Brand, and Southern Style Nuts brands, distributed through retail stores, e-commerce, and QVC. No illnesses have been reported so far. Consumers are advised not to consume the products and to return them for a refund or replacement.
