Congressman Mike Ezell Supports FY2027 NDAA to Enhance U.S. Military Readiness
Congressman Mike Ezell, representing Mississippi's 4th district and serving as Chairman of the Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee, has expressed his support for the Fiscal Year 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed this legislation, which aims to bolster America's military capabilities, support service members and their families, and enhance national security priorities. The NDAA includes provisions for a 5 to 7 percent pay raise for servicemembers, improved access to housing, education, and childcare, and measures to eliminate waste and fraud within the Department of Defense. The bill also focuses on strengthening the defense industrial base and advancing military readiness and innovation.
