Scotland's Basketball Teams Achieve Mixed Results at Commonwealth Games
Scotland's men's basketball team faced a setback in their quest to reach the quarter-finals of the 3x3 Basketball event at the Commonwealth Games, suffering a 21-13 defeat to New Zealand. Despite this loss, the team had earlier secured a victory against Nigeria with a score of 21-16. Currently, Scotland sits third in Pool A, trailing behind Australia and New Zealand. However, Scotland's wheelchair basketball teams have shown strong performances, with the men's team defeating Malaysia 18-6 to lead Pool B, and the women's team sharing the top spot in Pool B with Wales after a 21-4 win over India.
