University of Tennessee Receives Record $130 Million Investment from Haslams
Dee and Jimmy Haslam have made a historic $130 million investment in the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, marking the largest donation in the university's history. This funding is intended to enhance student success and faculty recruitment, particularly within the Haslam College of Business. The Haslams, who are alumni of the university, aim to elevate the institution's national reputation and support the next generation of leaders. The majority of the investment, $100 million, will be directed towards the Haslam College of Business to attract distinguished faculty and enhance student success initiatives. This contribution increases the Haslams' total financial support to the university to over $195 million.
