IIT Bombay Launches 2026 Biotechnology Internship for Molecular Biology Research
The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has announced a 6-month research internship opportunity in molecular biology and biotechnology. This program is part of the Computational Technology and Medicine Laboratory's efforts to advance research in molecular biology and translational medicine. The internship is designed for graduates interested in pursuing careers in molecular biology and related fields. Participants will engage in wet-lab work, including mammalian and bacterial cell culture experiments, PCR/qPCR techniques, and DNA/RNA extraction. The internship offers a stipend ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹16,000 per month, although it does not provide hostel accommodation. Candidates with a background in molecular biology, biotechnology, or related areas, and those interested in pursuing a PhD, are encouraged to apply.
