New Rochelle's Soulful Synergy Secures Funding for Clean Energy Workforce Training
Soulful Synergy, a workforce training program based in New Rochelle, New York, has received $450,000 in funding from the New York Power Authority (NYPA) to train individuals for careers in the clean energy sector. This funding is part of a larger $5 million initiative by NYPA to support workforce development in renewable energy. Soulful Synergy plans to use the funds to train workers in weatherization, energy efficiency, and building electrification. The program aims to equip individuals, particularly from underserved communities, with the skills needed to participate in New York's transition to renewable energy.
