Fireworks Truck Explosion Causes Traffic Standstill on Tennessee Highway
A trailer carrying fireworks exploded on Interstate 75 in Hamilton County, Tennessee, causing a significant traffic disruption. The incident occurred when a white pickup truck towing the trailer began smoking, leading to the fireworks igniting and creating a dramatic display. The explosion halted traffic for over three hours as emergency responders, including the Chattanooga Fire Department and Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department, managed the situation. Despite the intensity of the explosion, no injuries were reported, and the truck itself remained largely undamaged.
