Triple-I Launches Legal System Abuse Awareness Campaigns in Oklahoma and Wisconsin
The Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I) has launched awareness campaigns in Oklahoma and Wisconsin to highlight the impact of lawsuit abuse on consumer costs and the need for tort reform. The campaigns include digital displays and billboards in the Capitol Districts of both states, as well as targeted Facebook ads. The initiative aims to educate legislators and consumers about the 'hidden tort tax' that increases insurance premiums and leads to job losses. In Wisconsin, legal system abuse costs residents $1,355 annually and has resulted in the loss of 68,658 jobs, while in Oklahoma, it costs residents over $979 annually and has led to the loss of 33,656 jobs.
