World ID Partners with Zoom and Tinder for Human Verification
World ID, a platform founded by Sam Altman, Alex Blania, and Max Novendstern, is expanding its identity verification services to address the growing need for human verification in digital interactions. The platform has announced partnerships with Zoom and Tinder to integrate its verification system. Zoom will use World ID's Deep Face technology to ensure meeting participants are human, enhancing trust in live communications. Tinder is trialing World ID for age verification in Japan, adding verification markers to profiles. Additionally, World ID has developed Concert Kit to prevent ticket sales to bots and is collaborating with companies like Razer, DocuSign, Shopify, and Coinbase for humanity verification. The platform also offers a device called the Orb, designed to verify human uniqueness without collecting personal data.
