NYPD Seeks Suspects in Viral TikTok 'Speed Running' Incident at NYC Scientology Church
The NYPD is investigating a viral TikTok trend known as 'speed running' after a group of individuals stormed the Church of Scientology's Times Square location in New York City. The incident, which occurred on May 2, involved the group forcing entry into the church and causing $10,000 worth of damage. The police have released a bulletin seeking to identify 31 individuals involved in the stunt. The church has condemned the act as trespass and harassment, emphasizing that their facilities are meant to be peaceful spaces.
