Instagram Experiences Temporary Outage, Users Report Glitches
Instagram users encountered issues with the app on Monday morning, with reports of glitches such as the app freezing and Reels not playing automatically. The problems began around the start of the workday on the East Coast, with error reports appearing on Downdetector at approximately 9 a.m. ET. The number of reports quickly surged to over 1,000, significantly higher than the usual baseline. By 9:50 a.m. ET, Instagram appeared to have resolved the errors, as the number of issue reports began to decline.
