Cold Front Brings Storms and Snow to Minnesota and Wisconsin
A potent cold front is moving through eastern Minnesota into Wisconsin, bringing a mix of weather conditions. According to MPR News, the front is expected to trigger scattered showers and thunderstorms, with a wintry mix in northern Minnesota. A light icy coating and snow are possible in northwestern Minnesota on Friday morning. Winds will shift from the south to the northwest, reaching speeds of 15 to 30 mph. The weekend will see cooler temperatures, with highs in the 30s and 40s, but warmer weather is expected to return next week. The most severe weather risk is east of the Twin Cities, with potential for strong storms, hail, and isolated tornadoes.
