Senator Capito Secures $15 Million for CAMC Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Enhancements
U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito, alongside U.S. Senator Jim Justice, announced a $15 million federal grant awarded to the Vandalia Health CAMC system. This funding, secured through Congressionally Directed Spending, is intended for significant upgrades to the hospital's technical infrastructure and cybersecurity measures. The announcement was made during a visit to CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, West Virginia. The grant aims to enhance the hospital's ability to protect sensitive healthcare information and improve its technological capabilities. Vandalia Health President and CEO Jeff Sandene expressed gratitude for the investment, highlighting its importance in strengthening healthcare services in the region.
