House Appropriations Committee Approves FY27 Agriculture Spending Bill with Conservation Cuts
The National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (NSAC) has released a report detailing the United States House of Representatives Appropriations Committee's approval of the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 (HR 7567). The report highlights significant funding allocations and cuts within the bill, particularly in the areas of conservation, energy, and environment. Conservation Operations (Con Ops) is funded at $800 million, which is $50 million less than its current level.
