Documentary on Indigenous Women Crisis to Screen in Plymouth, MA
The Plimoth Patuxet Museums in Plymouth, Massachusetts, will host a screening of 'Who She Is,' a documentary focusing on the lives of four Indigenous women affected by the Missing and Murdered Indigenous People Crisis. The event, scheduled for May 8, aims to raise awareness about the violence and disappearance of Native women across North America. The film uses animation and first-person storytelling to humanize the statistics. A discussion with Junise Bliss, founder of the Sweetgrass Cultural Enrichment Center, will follow the screening.
