OpenAI's New Voice Mode Enhances ChatGPT Desktop App Functionality
OpenAI has updated its ChatGPT desktop app to include a new voice mode, allowing users to interact with the AI using voice commands. This feature, part of the ChatGPT-Live model family, enables users to perform complex tasks and control AI agents through voice, enhancing the app's functionality. The voice mode works with both ChatGPT Work and Codex, and can access websites and apps on macOS using the Appshots feature. This update allows users to dictate multi-step commands and receive responses when additional input is needed. The feature is rolling out globally, and users can also access it via the iOS app for remote use.
