George and Amal Clooney Evacuate French Home Amidst Wildfires Threatening Region
George and Amal Clooney have evacuated their residence in Brignoles, southeastern France, due to escalating wildfires in the area. The couple, along with their 9-year-old twins, left their home as a precautionary measure. In a letter to the local mayor, Didier Brémond, they expressed uncertainty about the fate of their property and emphasized their commitment to the community. The wildfires have prompted the evacuation of 3,000 people in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, with the fire reportedly being four times the size of Paris. The Clooneys, who also own homes in Italy, Kentucky, and England, have expressed their dedication to helping rebuild the community if necessary.
