Indonesia Confirms Order for 12 M-346F Light Fighter Aircraft, Enhancing Military Capabilities
Indonesia has confirmed an order for 12 M-346F light fighter aircraft from Leonardo, an Italian aerospace company. This order, valued at approximately €1 billion ($1.14 billion), was announced during the Farnborough air show. The aircraft, which will be delivered starting in 2030, are part of the latest Block 20 standard, featuring advanced radar, data-link, electronic countermeasures, and improved cockpit displays. This deal also includes a localization agreement for support, maintenance, overhaul, and training services with PT ESystem Solutions Indonesia. This acquisition makes Indonesia the 23rd operator of the M-346 aircraft.
