The Solomon Islands Ports Authority has invested in infrastructure, opening the Millenium Cruise Passenger Terminal, the largest in the South Pacific, to accommodate increasing cruise traffic. This development is part of a strategic effort to attract high-yield expedition travelers, who contribute significantly to the local economy.
