Lincoln Hotels Reach Capacity Due to Major Events Attracting Visitors
Lincoln, Nebraska, is experiencing a surge in hotel bookings as several major events draw visitors to the city. Events such as archery competitions and country music concerts are contributing to the high demand for accommodations. Aaron Stitt, the general manager for the Residence Inn and the Courtyard by Marriott in the Haymarket, noted that the overlap of these events has led to sold-out bookings. Stitt mentioned that these events are beneficial as they can fill hotels for extended periods, sometimes up to two weeks. As a result, Stitt's hotels are fully booked for the weekend, and he is directing guests to other local lodging options through established relationships.
